Hyper-V Replication

В конторе 2 кластера с виртуальными машинами - один на основе
бесплатного Hyper-V Server 2012, второй на основе нормальной Windows
Server 2012 Datacenter. Hyper-V Server - это урезанный Server
Core с одной ролью Hyper-V.

Одна из ключевых фич Windows Server 2012 - это репликация виртуальных
машин. Т.е. на другой хост-системе поддерживается в актуальном
состоянии копия виртуальной машины, которую можно запустить в случае
сбоя основной. Трафик репликации идёт по http (аутентификация через
Kerberos, если машины входят в домен) или https (аутентификация через
сертификаты, единственный вариант для автономных машин. в этом случае
поддерживается шифрация трафика репликации).

Установка простая:

- подготовить хост-сервер реплики Enable this computer as replica server
(если кластер, нужно создать ресурс брокера репликации и включать
репликацию на нём)
- разрешить трафик репликации Hyper-V Replica HTTP(S) Listener(TCP-In)
- включить репликацию нужной машины

Включение репликации для машины не идёт (скриншот 1). Ошибка 0x00002efe
это общий сбой соединения. В журнале Microsoft-Windows-Hyper-V-VMMS
ничего вразумительного нет. Нашёл статью на одном МС-блоге, там
подобное сообщение было при проблемах с Керберос. Никаких сообщений про
Керберос в журнале, однако, нет.

Решил проверить, как идёт установка репликации. В Windows Server 2008
R2 появилась возможность делать захват трафика без дополнительных
драйверов через netsh trace. Эта команда создаёт дамп всего трафика и
кучу вспомогательных файлов - разных журналов и выводов диагностических
команд. Удобная вещь. Полученный дамп можно загрузить в
майкрософтовский бесплатный снифер Netmon.

Создал 2 трейса - на исходном и на целевом сервере. На целевом сервере
нет запросов с исходного. Очевидно, что трафик где-то теряется.
Оказалось, исходный сервер пересылает эти http запросы на прокси
сервер, который когда-то сконфигурировали через netsh winhttp и забыли
(скриншот 2). После модификации списка обхода прокси всё заработало.

ReFS

В Windows Server 2012 появилась новая файловая система ReFS (Resilient
FS). Улучшения по сравнению с NTFS - большой размер тома 262000
Эксабайт (в NTFS 16 Эб - превышение даже этого порога большинству фирм
пока не грозит, но тем не менее), полностью транзакционная и
самовосстанавливающаяся.

Новая файловая система заточена под работу новой фичи WS2k12 Storage
spaces - в связи с этим ограничения:

· Нельзя грузиться с тома ReFS
· Windows 7 не читает эти тома
· Квот нет
· Сжатие и шифрация EFS не поддерживаютя
· Нельзя сконвертировать NTFS -> ReFS, но скопировать файлы можно

Mplayer multithreading

На ноутбуке двухъядерный Интел Aтом один из древних, встроенное видео
Интел Графикс. Попробовал посмотреть хороший блюрей-рип из бондианы.
mplayer2 тормозит, vlc тоже.

mplayer2 скомпилирован с автоопределением процессора. Попробовал
поставить билд mplayer sherpya, скомпилированный с явной оптимизацией
под P4. Тормоза маленько уменьшились.

Проверил загрузку в таск менеджере. Загружено только одно ядро, второе
ядро почти простаивает.

В новых билдах mplayer распаковка x264 выполняется многопоточной
библиотекой ffmpeg. Чтобы задействовать многопоточную распаковку видео
нужно указать ключ -lavdopts threads=2 (сколько есть ядер) или
добавить в mplayer/config

## Multithreaded decoding on supported codec
lavdopts=threads=2

После этого произошло чудо - оба ядра загрузились по полной
программе, тормоза исчезли совсем. Mplayer рулит как всегда.

Ранее я давал ссылку на самые свежие билды от spirton. Не знаю, какие
патчи они накладывают, но он у меня проигрывает mkv/x264/aac с сильной
рассинхронизацией звука.

Билд от sherpya староват, но зато работает как надо, и есть отдельно
скомпилированные бинарники для разных процессоров

Вначале после прочтения краткого описания я не захотел его смотреть.
Но потом почитал, что пишут. Сериал ставят в один ряд с лучшими - The
Wire, The Sopranos, Deadwood, Mad Men. Решил посмотреть пилот. Неплохо,
но что то не впечатлился. Посмотрел вторую серию, третью - и после
разбитой тарелки понеслось.

Какой сериал! "Прослушка" и "Сопранос" потеснились. Отличный сценарий
от создателя "Секретных материалов". Отличная камера. Отличные актёры.
Я бы сказал, что в сериале есть все необходимые компоненты для успеха.
Криминал и саспенс - пожалуйста. Драма (в том числе, семейная и
социальная) - через край. Боевик - некоторые моменты сняты получше
многих полнометражных боевиков.
